In contrast to the numerous big projects in China this work brings the attention to the scale of a person and the surrounding room. The human scale of the space is the background of the concept using three “furniture” items to define the space: a carpet, a sculpture, and a curtain. At the same time these elements also represent attributes of a dialectic space. The carpet solidness and cover, the sculpture is physical form and conceptual expression and the curtain is wall and translucent openess.
