The project is located at the junction of Tianmushan Road (Express Passage) and Yugu Road of Ping’an Avenue, which is within the three dimensional traffic network formed by the Tianmushan Road Scenic Avenue, Wenshan Road Blueprint Avenue and Yugu Road commercial ringroad.

In the initial period of our work, the design is based on the analysis of the base and the surrounding environment and the understanding and research of the project and task. We have conducted discussion on the tower types such as the single building, double building, panel type and spot combination, calculated the possible relation between the tower and the annex and put forward plenty of assumptions and conceptions.

The building changes from a square body gradually and forms ladder-like cracks from top to bottom at the golden section point, as if made by God. The two flanks slant toward the west and south and contrast with each other. The subtle inclination and overlapping in all directions left no trace of exaggerated artificial carving and the over-rational collage logic of the interface, which skillfully redirect and distract people’s one dimensional sight line, forms a lively borderline with the surrounding buildings and makes the ordinary tower quite interesting. The directional lines of the building extend to the far distance and create an imposing kinetic potential.
