Believing in inspirations through defining and solving problem Mr. Wu has always followed his design motto---making the visible invisible (problem solving) and at the same time, making the invisible visible (sublimation of design creativity and re-presentation of architectural essence). Steve is always willing to gain insightful understanding with client’s program that in turn gives design process an efficient and innovative flow. For him every architectural work ought to cast its proper identity on the context. Steve manages the firm oriented upon end-user/client’s needs. With allocating right designers for each project he oversees the performance of team and leads them to create the model of “ ultimate success of the firm is to give our client s the value beyond their expectations and imaginations”. Mr. Wu received his B.Arch and M.Arch in Southeast University, China from 1983-1989. His thesis was published in The Architects, a prestigious Chinese professional journal while in school. From 1990-2004 in US Steve received M.Arch from SUNY Buffalo and employed in top international retail design firms RTKL and DDG as Associate. Di Wu is also an American Licensed Architect.He was Managing Director in Shanghai East China Construction and Design Development Inc. from 2004-2008. Mr. Wu Joined St. Johnson/SPLD as Partner/Managing Director in 2009. During more than 20 years professional architectural design practice Steve has completed many retail complexes, hotels, office complexes and residential complexes not only in US and China, but also in South America, South Africa and Southeast Asia. |
